hello

i am a big fan of chop shop and the boys.
i am doing a little project and i need some wheel spacers (4 inch/10cm/100mm) like the type fitted on the bmw sumo in series 2 first car.
could someone please let me know where or from who they got the wheel spacers for this car it would be much appreciated

i can not find anyone to make them

hi,

wheel spacers can be made by any local engineering company, but they will almost certainly say they can't make them unless you can provide them with measurments in the form of a cad drawing on disc for their cnc lathes. The cost would be quite high
To be honest though spacers are a bad idea and the wrong way of building a car they will wreck the wheel bearing in no time,ruin the steering geometry and make the car handle badly. better to fit wider wheels. Spacers are not meant for cars that will be driven, just show cars.
