Mainly this is a listing of Flower's litters from her first surving pups onwards, I'll list it like this:

Pup name (Name used in MM if required) (gender) fate (which are listed as follows). AC= Active within Whiskers, P= Died as pup, J= Died as junior/Sub adult, DA= Dispersed as adult, SOG= Resident in another group, DOG= Dominant in another group (keep in mind these listing only go as far as the episode 'Journeys end' and may have changed since). What about Youssarian?
We all know Youssarian wasn't in series 3, well on 04/07/2006 (About 2 months before series 3) Youssarian and Zarathrusta (I belive to be Sparky) moved into the Lazuli, which had no males at the time. Six days later the Lazuli males returned and forced them out, killing one of Youssarian's allies in the process, three days after that (13/07/2006) Zarathrusta returned to the Whiskers without Youssarian. To this day Youssarian's status would be DA.

Further items wil be posted as I find them.

Part three of my info run (and the last part for now). This is the full statistics, few corner cut, every important detail of the Whiskers between March 15th 2000 (the day Flower was born) and January 28th 2007 (Rocket dog takes dominance after Flower's death).

End number: Approximatly 47

Notes: Number of pups born does not include pups from killed litters. Dissapearences are listed under members left group or deaths. Dominance changes include splinter groups. Abandoned litters are listed under killed litters.

Monkulus was listed as 'AC= Active within Whiskers', I think you may have just read it wrong

that or the chart is wrong it said in current groups, the azectes, they are named after a anceint culture cool

Also keep in mind my lists only went to January 28th 2007, three days after the episode 'Journey's end'

well he may not be whiskers but his mate nikita is zaphod's half sister i think itv doesn't matter who who as long as we know their names

I have got completely confused with the naming system between AP and the KMP. I have read Tim Clutton-Brock's book which is excellent but like I said the naming of the meerkats on MM isn't cohesive with the book. Surely MM keeping the same names as the KMP would be a better idea esp for those wanting to learn more about them

Don't blame me for that. I'm not the one who wrote the book, I only used what I learned from it, which said Petra was seperated from everyone during the group split (series 1 episode 7).

I have not received my book as yet. Obviously one is not correct. But which one? Maybe an error in the text not picked up by the author or proof reader or an error by the photographer? Interesting, as is Columbus. Maybe "He" was a "She". Questions, questions questions. Will the answers ever be known?
