There was one the other day, you must have missed it. Our gecko (called Kevin) coughs occasionally, sounds like a high pitched throat clearing. He even occasionally barks at me when he’s hungry. He sits on his food dish and looks at me until he gets his dinner, it sounds crackers but it’s true…I think he’s a boy. I hope he is with a name like Kevin

lol i have a gecko,i got him out last night and when i went to bed he came over in his tank i put my hand outside and he started climbing up the glass trying to get on my hand.so i got him out agian,he loves coming out. what gecko have you got?

Kevin is a leopard gecko, he’s lovely and docile, but I always think he looks lonely, sticking to his glass cage, eyes swivelling round as though he has lost someone. Perhaps he misses his mum; you never know how reptiles think about stuff. But as long as he’s got some water and fresh food he seems happy enough. Maybe I should get him a friend, or perhaps not, they might fight, think I’ll ask the vet about it.
