Why does Discovery Chanel bring programmes just for suspence? So not to be informative and / or to discus positive and negative sites of the actual ------, broad and in balance? Or at least have programmes, just before or after, to shine a light from another point of view?

Although there are more programmes; programmes about logging bother me most.

Presented in a very cool fashion, 'our ruf heroes' under the most difficult situations save of our highly appreciated economy, by destroying old grow forrests by footballfiels a day, every week, month, year, decenia. They do it with magnificent monstermachines and make use very cool helicopters. They don't seem to do it for a few owners or politicians to fill there pockets, so much they and there family don't have to work the next 400 years. Its done because of emploiment, for people that without logging don't even would live there, but totally depending on logging. These people have the right to buy a flat screen tv, so destroy on. Sorry, I am overreacting. These loggers are improving the environment and economy by planting a twig for every 300-year old tree on bare slopes for production forrests to cut 30 years later. Then, 30 years later, they (also) don't have to care about animals and vegetations, they simply are not there anymore. They don't have to care about rivers and fish as well. Isn't it strange to see logging trucks with old growth go on and of every two minutes in the north of Vancouver Island, After 30 to 80 years of replanting?

But according to Discovery Channel its seems a good job, all done for luxery paper and Pampers.

My question is:
Is the program unworthy for Discovery Channel or is Discovery Channel on a wrong path?

gr. John
