does anyone know how much longer or how long the kalahari meerkat project is going for?

Not idea, but possibly not long. I mean it was going around 11 years before MM, if the study was going to be for 15 years series 4 would be the last.

no not at all i was just wondering, i am in my first year of uni and i am doing a zoology degree and i am planing to break off at the end of my 3 years and study meerkats and i want to be a volenteer because then i can ask around for jobs.

I would love to be a volunteer, but don't have the money for the trip.

i am planing to take not next year but the year after that off uni to apply to be a volenteer i have emailed crambridge university and asked how much longer the project is going and i told them i was going to be avalible in 2 years.

Not sure, certainly somthing with animals though. My ultimate aim would to be involved in the kalahari meerkat project, but that certainly wont be for a good while.

in meerkat manor season 2 they show what the other meerkat groups are doing and in season 1 they just stick with the whiskers.

Yeah I noticed that. In series 1 the Lazuli (or gattaca) only appear in episodes 2,5,6,10 and 13. In series 2 another group seem to be every episode.

Nice, and for my fave episode, eather episode 5 from series 1 or episode 7 from series 2 (If I'm correct thats 'Childhood's end' and 'United we stand' respectivly).
