I am so glad to have come across these forums, as i love anything to do with the Natural World, and especially animals.
Tigers are my most favourite animal, i have them all over the place in my house, on plates, pictures, mugs, t-shirts, rugs, sheets, throws, ornaments....and more, i have also adopted one through the World Wide Fund for Nature.
These manificent cats are the most manificent, most beautiful of all the big cats [ i do love them all though] it angers me to think Tiger poaching is still going on, that they are used in medicines, and eaten, they are in danger of becoming extinct, and there are more in captivity than there are in the wild, it will be a sad, sad day for all of us if we lose this beautiful creature, and that generations in the future may never enjoy seeing them, in their natural habitat.
I met Tessa the esso Tiger when she lived here in England, and was angered to hear that her owner was exploiting her on the Carribean Island of Aruba some months later, charging tourist to have a photo taken with her, she was riddled with Arthritis and enclosed in a small cage with no shade, she eventually died of a heart attack, caused by fright, she was unable to escape from hurricane Katrina.
I would give my right arm to cuddle a full grown Tiger, [ tame of course] but not at the expense of exploitation.
A strict vegetarian, almost vegan, for over 12 years, animals are very much a priority in my life, i will put them first before a lot of rotten morons i know, who call themselves human.
I won't live in a place that does not allow animals, and i am never more happier than when i am surrounded by them, they are a brilliant therapy for me, and i hope i am for them too, they do not have anything to fear from me, i am their very best friend.
I just wish i could win the lottery, or something, so i can buy my biggest dream, an animal sanctuary, where i can carry out my vocation in life, and look after the animals, from small cute ones, to big ones, and if i had room, be able to take care of ill treated Tigers too.

Ayway, i am looking forward to being here, and making lot's of new friends, starting new threads, and responding to others, it is nice to be in a community where we all have a common bond, loving animals, and the planet we live on, and caring for it all too, enjoying science, geology, volcanoes, and the like.
