Bear Grylls is back in a brand new series, beginning with a two-hour feature length special in the Sahara. Parachuting into the hottest place on earth Bear shows just what it takes to survive the blistering heat, deadly sand storms and lack of food and water in one of the most hostile places on earth.
Using his skills and adopting little known techniques used by indigenous tribes, Bear demonstrates that the unthinkable can, at times, be lifesaving. From urinating on his t-shirt to keep cool, to eating a camel spider, a deadly scorpion and raw goat’s testicles, Bear demonstrates how to avoid dehydration, hunger and heat-stroke.
Mmm, sounds like one to watch with a TV dinner! Don't miss it!
Starts Wed 21 Nov, 8pm.
Enjoy.
