 Yeh I think its cool.I am hooked on the series and the third series is the only one I have seen, I only started watching it a week ago. The way they live and support each other in the gang is fascinating. Only downside for some or most of em is that if they want a bit o nookie they have to be discreet and sneak off with an outsider to get it. I couldn't believe that the sister of the dominant alpha female sneaked back to their burrow and killed her 3 pups so she could plan to become the dominant female. Its great coverage. How do they get the device around the dominant alphas neck????????????????????? |

scoson, i'm guessing they dart the meerkat then while it's asleep put the collar on, and when the meerkat dies it's recycled to another kat. I think :3 But whoever says no will have nightmares of meerkats eating them forever more. I MEAN IT... roar!

ive seen a vid of a researcher simply just picking one up (they are use to humans being around) and giving it something so it goes to sleep.
