Jim, I wish you were still a part of this world, you are very very missed here. Alison and your staff are doing a great job continuing with your work, you would be so proud. You'll always be remembered

I just learned that Jim Cronin died last year, when I was watching Monkey Life last night (strangely enough on the 1 year anniversary) and then it had a dedication in the credits. I was shocked. I live in Denmark and I hadn't heard the news. But I found his obituary on the net. I grew up in New York also, and enjoyed the fact that Jim also ended up in Europe (like so many other Americans). But, I am really saddened by his death. Jim and Alison worked together so great and so dedicated.
My thoughts go out to her and all humans and animals at Monkey World.
I hope to be able to visit it one day with my daughter.

I too only heard jim died not that long ago from watching monkey world. what a sad day for us all. I cried because of many things, firstly Alison, they always looked so in love with each other the body language between thetwo was powerful. Secondly the primates at the park, they will miss him, and thirdly the monkeys out their that need. One year on and his loss is still upsetting. when im watching at 11pm i think why take him god he is a beautiful human being, something thats missing in todays world. Alison is going to continue with the dream and god willing she will, lets hope that one day she will succeed. mind you im sure she will. God Bless Jim, never to be forgotten. joan manchester
