aris died following an injury to his leg
they did an operation which he succesfully got over
the next day he was climbing about
then a few days later he started going down hill very quickly
he was found lying on the floor
4 days later he declined so much tht they decided to put him to sleep
his heartbeat was very bad after the operation
they are waiting for the results of an autopsy to determine what happened
but they think he had something wrong with his brain

I received a letter from Monkey World yesterday informing me of the sad news about Aris as i was an adoptive parent of his. It is such a shame as he was a real character and he will be sorely missed!! Frowner

sorry for the delayed response! hello monkey lovers!!

Yes aris was a lovely little chap but they've transferred my adoption to Joly now so that's some consolation!

Do you all know that Russell Brand visited the park on new years eve? He has adopted Charlie as well! Nice bit of celebrity exposure!!

Sorry to hear about the loss of Aris. That's so sad, but I bet Jim was waiting for him with open arms.... awwwwwww.

I'm planning my very first visit to Monkeyworld this Summer. Hopefully I'll be able to adopt, I've never adopted an animal before.... what does it actually involve? How much does it cost? etc
