Hi!

I'm undertaking a major Antarctic expedition next year and I'd love to know how to set about getting some interest in what we're doing from TV companies if anyone has any ideas.

Nobody's ever walked from the ice edge of Antarctica to the South Pole and back before, so I'm doing it with friend and fellow adventurer John Wilton-Davies. What's more, to make it even more interesting, we'll be covering the 2,200km on foot with no assistance, no support and no re-supply.

We're trying to use the expedition and our experiences to help as many people as we can in as many ways as possible including raising money for charity, encouraging people to improve their health by increasing their activity levels, raising awareness of environmental issues, creating an activity based learning programe for students and loads of other 'smaller' things.

We don't want the expedition to turn into some sort of media circus by having a film crew following us over there, but we and other people we speak with, think that following the training and preparation would make interesting viewing and we're quite happy to carry cameras oursleves to produce footage from the expedition itself.

If anyone's got and ideas or contacts then please do drop me a line through the website.

Thanks very much

Justin
