Because of the hours I work I get my Mrs to record some of my favourite Dscovery programmes onto our Asda DVD recorder. Recently she has seen an error message about the programme being 'protected'. She's tried re-formatting the DVD-RW's but still gets the same message. Is my DVD recorder faulty or has Discovery done something to stop recordings? Help please...

Same problem for me. I was out when the Kent Weeks VOK programme went out at 10pm Friday so programmed to record it. Got back to find 5 mins of adverts then message saying programme content protected. What is going on Discovery? I think we deserve an answer.

I appreciate your comments. It is VERY DISAPPOINTING that Discovery haven't made any feedback to us. I get the impression that they are quite happy to push the programmes to us, but when we ask for help they shut the door and hide....
