Ulitmate Survival with Bear Grylls - 9th Sept. WHAT A LOAD OF TRIPE!!! ITS RUBBISH!

I watched it after it was slipped into todays run of Survivorman (Les Stroud) Episodes.

I've been a big fan of Survivorman for a couple of years now, and to show the DROSS and foolishness which is Bear Grylls during these episodes was painful.

The whole show was a setup from start to finish, he was followed the whole time by a camera crew...

was spooked by something likely to be a coyote
or a rabbit. To avoid this "Bear" he jumped off a cliff into the river... and 5 minutes later was bone dry

Tried to club a fish he was holding up in the air, rather than just giving it a quick flick off a rock on the ground

floated down a river using only his improvised flotation device (and the clearly visable life vest under his hoody)

and so many other things I could pick holes with....

but most impresive was his ability to stay clean shaven the whole time... this might have something to do with the dirt which was clearly rubbed onto his face.

RUBBISH!! I hope I never see it again and will be skipping the channel anytime there is a danger it may be shown again.

What did everyone else think?

I'm with STE Mallo. Funny thing is a number of people have been quick to criticize Bear, especially in favor Les Stroud, yet Bear and Les have met and Bear has nothing but kudos for Les. As a climber and former member of the USAF Special Force, I know a thing or two about surviving and find both Bear's and Les's shows interesting and informative. Though I admit my fiance finds Bear significantly more attractive, LOL.
