Anyone know if The Garage season 3 is coming to TV yet? Or has Discovery abandoned it?

Series 3 was broadcast on Discovery Real Time earlier this year.

At present a new series has not been commissioned, but repeats of series 3 will, hopefully, be shown on Discovery Real Time in summer 2009.

You're in the right place to make noise about it though. If you make enough we may be able to arrange something.

Surely there has to be another series of The Garage on TV, this programme is brilliant very entertaining. why drop that program ?? Plans need to be made. I don't know many English mechanics programes on tv at the moment that film it this way.

Please bring back The Garage

I did wonder whatever happened to the garage. It was a good show and i certainly enjoyed being in it!

I hope there will be another series. I really enjoyed this show.

I want there to be another series too, I watch all the repeats. My favourite car program along with topgear!!

Don't bother. There are way to many shows of that kind already destroying the Discovery station. What happened, is there new management? The choice of programs aired on Discovery lately is really too bad for words. It is disgusting.

How many series of the garage were they? I thought there was only 2! It is a good programme tho, and I wish that there was a new series coming up. I would like to know how did they get on with their last resto project-a Ford Cortina that they didnt get to finish.

There has been 2 series shown already an it seems another one has been shot and is currently locked away.

i understand why theres been a delay, the disappearence of "Peter Hutcheon"

i had to say it for the people who dont know, but that shouldnt stop the best show on discovery be shown.

Just to echo the sentiment here, bring back the garage, "Get it on!".
Do a poll or whatever.
Hugely entertaining show,
and the cast of characters that have appeared are truly likeable & unique.
Best wishes to them all.
Two of my favourites were Ed and Ricky.
In fact, they should get together and make a show of their own
So called Hollywood blockbusters can't produce the intense characters we have seen in this series.

I think most people know of a character similar to Jock,
sour, foul mouthed & grumpy, but really is a genius with a heart of gold.
There is only one Jock boss of the garage.
Plus, it is a working business with all the pressures that entails.
Bring it back,
in fact make it a 2 hr show
This really has the potential to blow something like "American Chopper" out of the water, (which I also like, but is coming to an end).

YEAH COULDNT HAVE SAID IT BETTER.
I DONT SEE THE PROBLEM IF ITS ALREADY BEEN SHOWN, DISCOVERY IS BUILT ON REPEATS, YEARS AND YEARS OF PLAYING THE SAME STUFF OVER AND OVER AGAIN, BUT WHEN WE ACTULEY WANT A SHOW TO BE REPEATED, WE HAVE TO BEG FOR IT. THIS ISNT RIGHT.

PLEASE SHOW SERIES 3, OR AT LEAST START MAKING ANOTHER SERIES THAT COULD BE SHOWN NEXT YEAR.

I'm also a big fan of this show, however, after wathcing each episode about 10 times the repeats are getting very boring.

I did think there was only 2 series though.

Has series 3 actually been shown, reading the comments above, all I can make out is that it was shown, was made but never shown and has been locked away, or wasn't shown :-), so I'm non the wiser :-)

Either way, just get it back on :-)

the editorial say series 3 was shown last year, but theres no plans to show it again.

there should at least give a statement as to the reasons why this show will not be shown again.

i think we at least deserve that, as loyal paying customers.

Fear not! We do have plans to show the Garage series 3 later in the year as stated above.

It will show on Disovery Real Time and is pencilled in for a November transmission date (and will be shown on the Discovery Channel in the daytime between October and December - fine if you have Sky+).

We read your comments and are taking on board your cries for a reprise of the show. Sadly, to really make an impact on the decision-makers, we need more noise on here!
