I need help for an uncle- he watched a programme on a couple of weeks ago about the romans (i think) building a water machine that opened temple doors and worked on the principle that the vacuum in the machine would pull the water through the machine and then the weight/pressure of the water that was pulled through the vacuum would push water back up to the cylinder on the top of the machine. does anyone have any idea what programme this would have been on, or did you even see it??
