Correct me if I am wrong, but in the facts during the ad breaks on the Discovery Channel, it says:
What is the smallest Republic in the world?
answer:The Republic of San Marino.

But I think that that is wrong, because I believe that Nauru, which is a small country regarded as the Republic of Nauru, which is only 21km squared land area and far less than 0.01% of the world's total area. And I am also wondering if this meant population, because Nauru is also less populated than San Marino, by a heck of a lot. I am just wondering if this is a mistake by the people who make the facts during the ad breaks.
