I love to watch the showcase of the worlds most modern and exotic weapons as much as the next war junkie.. but I would have enjoyed this series a lot more if the actual sounds of the weapons weren't dubbed out and replaced with the worst sound effects I've heard even from a TV show, not only do the sounds not correspond to the weapons being used but the sound isn't even in sync. In 'Top Guns' whilst demonstrating the M468 with the silencer attached, the most archetypal James Bond film sound effect was pasted over the actual sound. I don't know about anyone else but I find this kind of sloppy butchery patronising and really distracting, it wasn't done so much in season 1 so why now?...
