I've just spent an hour watching Shed Heads, Stu and Ricky. Where do you find amateurs like this to present shows? Doesn't anybody check what they are talking about? Doesn't anybody check how they do things?
Building a treehouse:- They don't even know how to use their own tools. You do not force a hand saw to cut. As for using a hammer and chisel; words fail me. I doubt that they even passed woodwork at school. They certainly didn't learn to speak English. Building a geodesic dome greenhouse:- Putting in the foundation straight on to what looked like topsoil, and then rolling the hardcore with a small deadweight roller was about as much use as they are. I'll be surprised if that foundation lasts more than two winters. They don't know the difference between safety glasses and safety goggles. There is no such thing as anti- vibration gloves (Despite what it might say on the packet) Maybe that's how they present the programs; read the instructions on the products etc. and then try to pass on the information without really knowing what they are doing, or talking about. The show is so bad that I will not be watching them again. Regards Ralph. |
