Howstuffworks.com has a good article on tattooing... shows how the machines all go together with a video. ( go to howstuffworks.com and search for tattoo) Be careful though, dont just start tattooing real people, do some dead animals first and get a propper opinon of a professional artist before you start on people... Clicky for article

Roz, good luck with your new found career. don't let everyone scare you. all tattoo artists have to start somewhere and very few have have every recieved an appenticeship. learn all you can, get tattooed and ask questions, and continue drawing. superior tattoo equipment has a new tattoo artist's guide they are working on. almost finished, maybe next week. contact karen@superiortattoo.com and see if you can get an advanced copy. good luck
