Watching the new episode last night (I know, I know, but Lost is on at the same time on Sunday ). When the woman came in to get the tattoo of the waves and the horse I noticed Kat shake her husband's hand when she already had her gloves on! Hopefully we didn't see her taking them off and putting on a new pair, but if not I'm amazed a such a basic error!

Or did I just imagine that? Anyone have it recorded and could check?

It's a very good question! I'm considering getting a TVDrive from Telewest but don't know that I would use it that much. I never record anything usually so can't really justify the extra £10 a month.

as said befdore the camera doesnt show everything, she's been tattooing for 10years so i think she knows what to do....
if you been watching the series its obvious they group different people from different days in one episode just so they can say 'todays episode was all about..' i've noticed people in the background having tatts that were on a few episodes before, etc..

I guess that would cause some alarm these days. I have worked in several big healthcare areas and the surgeons that operate on you are wearing their scrubs to go and get lunch before opening you up. Been there and saw it in person. Dont even bother trying to tell me different!

I saw an excellent one the other day.

Was in Claire's Accessories (don't ask) and someone was getting their ears pierced (again, I'll not say anything about that) and the person wielding the gun put on gloves and in the following order:

Opened a drawer to get something out
picked up a pen
held onto another persons earlobes while looking at them
picked up a mirror
opened another drawer
picked up a clipboard and wrote something down
opened another drawer
held onto the person getting gunned ears
picked up another pen and marked dots
opened the drawer again
Then put the gun against the first ear and clicked.
Put the next stud in the gun and opened the drawer again (still with the same gloves on)

I had to walk out of the shop at this point before I went over and said something.

Makes you wonder...

How about when you go to the Dentist and he has his/her trusty gloves on. Watch how many times they tough the light and then put their hands in your mouth. Nobody is washing the light with the plastic on it.

I have eaten in a local resturant and seen people come in off the street giving pounds (shaking hands) to the people preparing food then they go right back to serving . It is just crazy. Thats could be why we all have colds for months instead of weeks.

Does anyone know where I can find the full skull sleeve done on the show in red and black I bought the first season and its not in there. Please help. I have spent at least one hour a day for months researching! All Dead ends Im tired! HELP

I was re-watching an old eposide the other day and Ami while he had his gloves on, used his mobile to speak to his brother to check out a hebrew word, then carried on with the tattoo.

Now again I hope he would have changed the gloves before continuing with the tattoo.

Yeah I spotted that too. Maybe the fact he hadn't the tattoo make's it alright who knows.

And if a tattoo artist or anyone touches something else while they have gloves on they should change them before doing anything else.

The worst one I've seen (apart from the Claire's story) was a piercer going into their pocket to get two £5 notes for change then carrying on without changing their gloves. Can you imagine how many germs are on money? Yuck!

oops!! good spot. I was trying to go easy on them. I've emailed the company that makes the show with a few points, and that was one of them. I can't wait to see if they reply. By the way I notice on Darren Brass's myspace account, his status is single

thank god my tattooist havent done that with me lol id make them change there gloves. ive never had problems like the ones mentioned but its disgusting no wonder i go an infection with my nose piercing

Where did you ge your nose pierced? And was it because the piercer didn't change gloves or do you think it was something else?
