Hey Guys

I am getting my first tattoo next week. Its a smal Ghanian symbol on the back of my neck. I was wondering what moisturizer i should use, and where i can get it from in the UK.

I use Bepanthen, which is a nappy rash cream and can be picked up from most chemists.

I used Preporation H on my first tattoo, but I think that the Bepanthen works much better in my opinion, and is alot more soothing, and actually easier to apply

I use Bach's Rescue Cream. It's designed to treat sunburn and other skin irritations (which is basically what a tattoo is to your body) and it's 100% natural made from some sort of plant extract.

Of course, YMMV.

I have just had my 3rd tattoo 1 week and a half ago I got recomended Bepanthen and it worked really well I got a light scab which has now all gone.
Before I used savalon which is no good and has left my 2 tattoos needing recolouring cos the colour faded.

yeah bepanthens the best you can get it from most chemists or boots stores

I live in widnes and got recomended tsunami so thats where I went and hes good too

i have had many tattoos and i would suggest using savlon, pure and simple, for the first few days a couple of spots on the center of the tatt and then after that 1 spot of savlon.

I would totally recomend 'Tattoo Goo' its all natual and you dont need to apply very much so lasts for more than 1 tat.

My tattoist recommended both savlon and bepanthen. I used savlon and it worked just fine.
