hi guys, just to say i sat for three hours yesterday having the outline done for my new backpiece, really impressed with it,so gets up this morning, takes a shower to wash the excess ink off and clean it,then liberally applied the bepanthen all over, couldn't understand why it was stinging so much, till i looked at the tube "sensodyne whitening toothpaste" couldn't believe it,and it wasn't as if i was half asleep,i was wide awake, needless to say jumped straight back in the shower, and this time applied bepanthen..Anyone else got a funny tattoo story.Would like to hear it if you have.

Ha great stuff, had my 3rd sitting for my half sleeve yesterday, the tattooist grabbed a bottle of orange and started shaking it only to discover someone had not twisted the lid shut, orange ink everywhere.

Until I read to the end I thought that was about orange juice. I was thinking this was an alternative healing thread!

hi guys, just had three hours on my new tattoo, on my rib cage and waist, its already looking amazing and i'm only a quarter of the way through it.Needless to say it hurt like hell, and to those people who say tattooing doesn't hurt, you must be immune to pain.Anyway no toothpaste this time, just bepanthen which is a lot more soothing and doesn't sting. And then back next week for more. by the way why do we get exited when we go for more, knowing how much its gonna hurt...

hi rollend,i am making good progress with this new tattoo,i'm going today for another two hours, show you when its finished or part of it.As for bepanthen its actually for babies. It forms a barrier against water but still allows the skin to breathe its very soothing and helps healing it works extremely well for me,better than 'toothpaste',think most tattooists recommend it..

hi rollend,my sitting yesterday went fine only one and a half hours, top of my back and shoulder and didn,t hurt that much, think it all depends where on the body you get inked,my arm band was a doddle, but my lower back piece hurt, and this new one is quite big so its different feelings all over.Back in a week for more ,its coming together nicely now.And i also was wondering why you was a navigator and us mere mortals are just crew members, could this be favourtism..just jokeing..maybe its because youv,e had more posts than anyone else in which case watch out cause dougman and halfsleave are hot on your heals.
