lol from a tattoo "virgin" to a well none tattoo "virgin" lol Aye I got that feeling aftrer my first one at 16 so i went and got more money outta the bank and got my 2nd within 10mins lol as far as I know every1 ive seen or heard about gettin a tatt wants another stright away or pretty much stright away coz of the feeling on it really lol. What tatt did ya get and where ? Unless ya have a picture 2 show off ?

aye i know there a mate of mine had one done there its canny, also about gettin a loved ones name tattooed on you, just lil adivce only do it if you know its meaningful and it WILL LAST I got my futre wifes name tattooed in chinese on my chest thats bigish but they thing about it like that iz i know wot it says and so dose family and friends and whenever chinese pple c it they respect it for how its used and coz its used properly. But really it all depends on weather its gonna last otherwise its pointless, if you get me ?

Well it's up to the individual artsit to decide what they tattoo and what they don't. As long as their policy is consistent then I have no problems with it. If an artist doesn't tattoo names as a matter of pricipal, then I'm sure they'll accept that they might lose business. The same with racist/offensive tattoos, I'm sure there some artists have had to turn away customers but are quite happy to lose that particular business because they believe the have a good reason for not doing the work.

(DOUGMAN) i agree with u that some tattooist will turn down customers if i was an artist i'd turn away ppl who wanted sumthing offensive like my friends wants c**t on his back wtf is gonna tattoo that

I remember seeing a programme called (I think) Tattoo You which was based at a shop called Into You in Soho (All vague memories) And there was a guy who wanted c**t tattooed on him and the artist wouldn't do it. The guy really wanted it done so the artist eventually drew up artwork where it wasn't obvious what it was, but you could make out the word if you know what you were looking for. I guess it's all about what the artist will or won't do and whether a compromise could be made.
