aye i know there a mate of mine had one done there its canny,
also about gettin a loved ones name tattooed on you, just lil adivce only do it if you know its meaningful and it WILL LAST I got my futre wifes name tattooed in chinese on my chest thats bigish but they thing about it like that iz i know wot it says and so dose family and friends and whenever chinese pple c it they respect it for how its used and coz its used properly.

But really it all depends on weather its gonna last otherwise its pointless, if you get me ?

I know of a few tattoo artists who won't tattoo names on people, purely because relationships end/ people fall out etc.

Just something to bear in mind.

Not neccessarily, its just the same as tattooists refusing to tattoo people's head's and neck's

Well it's up to the individual artsit to decide what they tattoo and what they don't. As long as their policy is consistent then I have no problems with it.

If an artist doesn't tattoo names as a matter of pricipal, then I'm sure they'll accept that they might lose business. The same with racist/offensive tattoos, I'm sure there some artists have had to turn away customers but are quite happy to lose that particular business because they believe the have a good reason for not doing the work.

i've had a tattoo done every year since i was 17. i'm 23 now. they are so addictive and i love them! I've had my daughters name done on my shoulder and had mum and dad done. i personaly would neva get a b/f or g/f name done, only family names but its up to the indervidual.

I remember seeing a programme called (I think) Tattoo You which was based at a shop called Into You in Soho (All vague memories) And there was a guy who wanted c**t tattooed on him and the artist wouldn't do it.

The guy really wanted it done so the artist eventually drew up artwork where it wasn't obvious what it was, but you could make out the word if you know what you were looking for.

I guess it's all about what the artist will or won't do and whether a compromise could be made.

im totally hooked on tattoos now!

I started with a tiny flower when id turned 18, im 27 now and im about to get my biggest and maybe last as its my 10th!

i know a lot of people dont really like tattoos on women but i try to pick ones that arnt to butch!

Im really worried about the one im getting on my back, because its really big and i have to have it done in two stages, outline and then colour.

Its a design by artist Amy Brown, and its a fairy in purple and blues, if you have time please check it out on amybrownart.com its under misc 1 and its called imagine, im not having the banner in the tat tho, would really like some feedback guys!

thanks
xXx
