I was thinking of getting a tattoo at the top of neck and was wondering if anyone had any suggestions of what to get. Also if anyone else has one there, how sore was it???

hey i got a tatt on my neck and i laughed really it didnt hurt, i just need to draw up the rest for my neck seen as i want about 5 on it. (mainly cause i love the feeling of the needle when getting a tatoo) Anyway Kenji tattoo's look really nice if done right or something meaningful to the person gettin it done. On the other hand CERTIN tribal designs look great if place right.

hey kool, well I say it never hurt but it depends on the persons pain threshhold but I say it dont hurt just lil nip lol. And yeah sure I will but it wont be for a while at the moment cause am saving up for my wedding then when i get back to gettin my tatoo's I draw up ill be getting about another 4 or 5 on my neck.

What kinda tribal designs you into? or any really ?

Well I got it done at the weekend and you're right it didn't hurt. It's kinda hard to explain but it's a heart in the middle of my neck with a few black tribal swirly things coming out of it!!!!! When do you get married???

Just a bit sceptical as I've heard stories that people wouldn't employ a person with neck tattoos etc...but stuff em. It's my body, my life, I've only got one shot at it so I'm going to enjoy it!

Lol yeah thats true companys can be ****s about it but in the end of the day if they do NOT take you on for the job becasue of the tattoo you can take them to court over it aslong as the tattoo iz NOT offensive, NOT abussive or NOT violent. Other wise they cant say sweet F/A to you about it

Well as long as you can prove that the reason you didn't get picked for the job was the tattoos. And of course, lots of companies have policies that employees shouldn't have visible tattoos or piercings.

its easy to prove if they didint pick you for the job cause of that, look at how the interviwer iz, look at the staff, then look at your cv on well its done (if its a good cv that iz lol).
Also if the interview iz going all well and good then as soon as they hear about a tattoo or see the tattoo and they go all funny you can take it further by the law and stuff.
( i know cause ive had it done to me before lol )

I was worried at first what my work would say but their not bothered as it's not offensive.

Will try and get a picture of it if I can work out how to do it.

Yea I got loads on mi neck, never hand any trouble getin jobs, its me and mi tats or nothin,

there’re not worth bothering with if them don’t like you as you come wiv the tats.

I'm going to have some on mi face, look at them Maoris in New Zealand, they look real hard, and Jeeezzee! have you seen their tongs as well,

talking of which, has anyone ever had them tattooed, bet that stings a bit.

thats a really nice one. how much did it cost if you don't mind me asking. i want to get 1 on my neck a little blue star, smaller than a 5p and they said it would cost at least £15. as it turned out they would only tattoo under the t-shirt line ( i want mine just under my hairline)

bex let me get this right, you want a blue star on the back of your neck just under your hair line right? BUT SMALLER then a 5p, a little bit of advice get it bigger other wise it wont work as good and will just look like a blue little puddle after a while
