dan ,phil, and nichol could proberly do a lot better if they sacked that egotisstical pratt louis, but im affraid they got to go along way to top Garver and Arni,are these really supposed to be our best? huh i dont think so, but this is just my opinion.

Although he may come across as a ego-maniac this is because that is "HIS" signature his clients are carrying around. He's been in the industry 24 years and just wants the others to go to their full potential.

I personally wouldn't want someone ****ing about on my skin and not concentrating fully as thats not water-soluble marker.

I agree completely with steve. Louis is the worst part of London Ink and the others would be better without him. The way he puts down dan in front of customers is so un-professional. The only tat they talk about is the beckham one it was ok but it's nothing in comparison with other tattoo artist we have in the country. Louis is not an artist you just have to look at the hilda ogden portrait you can't even tell who it is. He wants to stop living off the back of one tattoo and try becoming more of an artist.

Louis may appear to pick on Dan and be unaware of the other people in the studio, but could this be because Dan needs guidance, he may well be "one of the lads" and a great down to earth guy, but this show is about being a tattooist of the highest standing. Although Dan is a great talent he is slow and can become unfocused but Nikole and Phil are focused so need very little help.

I understand Louis can come across as arrogant on the back of one "famous tattoo" but I know he has tattooed many famous people and never seeks publicity. And as far as not an artist I think you should look at Louis work and awards they say it all!

I've been thinking about getting one for quite a while.

From the point of a potenial tattoo subject I do think Louis had a point in what he said. (Concentrate, stop talking, getting on with the work and get it over & done with)

Getting tattooed is painful, as the programme pointed out time and again. I think if I do go under the needle one day, I would much prefer my artist just getting on and finish it as soon as possible rather than taking twice as long while chatting and joking even though it might look charismatic to others.

At the end of th day, it needs to be remembered that the skin under one's needle does belong to a human that has a nervous system and do feel pain.

ha ha ha i have read some p1sh in my time. what you have in LI is 2 junkies, 1 gonna be great and an absolute legend. Louis is the only one that has ever worked for a living, he is good at everything. thats why he has a money making shop, nothing to do with beckham! nobody is saying he is a nice guy but he will still be around while the others are long gone! dan is gonna be a great 1 day as long as he keeps knuckled down and learning from the likes of louis. back in the day when you had to actually do an apprenticeship, dan would have been cleaning the toilets! nikole and dan and just travelling artists, nikole is a hells angel tattooist, they do what they like then p1ss off somewhere else. as for miami ink......there is no contest. any of LI tats will be there long after ami and his crews feather shading is long gone!

Having been on the show and meeting the guys...this is Television and they cut and edit to make people appear a certain way. Although when i watched the first series, i would agree with the negative remarks regarding Louis, however he is actually a really nice guy and a right laugh and the atmosphere is the studio is all good! Don't believe all u see on TV!! amy
