Happy Birthday..Red Face)
I adopted Charlie last year and it was exciting getting my pic etc. My mum wanted to buy me clothes for christmas and i told her that I wanted the money to adopted the beloved fang sister this year. She looked at me strange, choosing an gator over fashion but I suppose to anyone else other than you great people on here they wouldn't understand.

I know what you mean wildlifewarrior4va it was a love hate relationship of the best kind Steve loved Agro and Agro hated Steve. It was comical to watch lol. Its just testiment to who Steve was Agro kept trying to kill Steve yet that made Steve love him even more. He was one of a kind and i will miss him everyday!!!!

Samba's Mum - can you tell us the situation with Charlie as no one seems to know what's happened to him or Murray for that matter (see my other Thread - MURRAY). Has he been retired?

Id love to tell you what's happened to him, to be honest I'm alittle worried. I can't see that he's died as I think they would have let me know or at least put something on the website. When my adopted Camel died the sanctuary let me know the bad news and gave me the chance to transfer adoption over to her companion, which I have. Also my sponsered dog at the dog trust died they also let me know. I do hope he's OK has I'll feel like a bad luck curse on my adopted animals..

They said on their website that there's been a huge demand to adopt animals so there is about a 4 week delay. So anytime soon those papers should be coming through. Enjoy. Can't wait to adopt Agro

I adopted a little koala that we named Irwin. I did this in the middle of September. Our papers and photograph and other information came about four weeks later. Seeing that package from Australia Zoo was really exciting for my seven year old son... and me too!
