Hi Meerkate...reported them before I even posted..they are sick. We have encountered a few over here on the forum in the past...light always overcomes dark. They can't lie about the sickness they have posted...it is there for all to see and AP to erase.

I cant belive how far fires can burn in a distance, I love seeing fire as it can create new life but then agian, it can destroy life.

It doesn't take long..especially when the Santa Ana winds wip up, they are warm winds and powerful. You are right meerkate..the ash left behind will help to renew. Mount St.Helens in Washington is a very good example of that.

My oldest daughter lives 120 miles north of San Diego, and 40 miles east of Los Angeles/Malibu area. She said they are fine for now...but they can see and smell the smoke.

This is just heartbreaking Shanon...I hate to see it so can only begin to imagine how these poor people feel...Glad your daughter is safe.....We are thinking of them..
