I know the UK has been seeing a lot of the wet stuff lately.
Here in Oklahoma 16 straight days of heavy rain and more in the coming days

http://www.koco.com/news/13570679/detail.html?treets=ok..._12000806282007&ts=H

But this is in Marble Falls Texas they have been having heavy downpours for the last 11 days and 18" fell yesterday morning and another 3" during the day, and more expected today.

Thank you for these Shanon..I am lucky not to have been affected, although we have had alot of rain and more to come this weekend....I feel for these poor people..my washing machine burst a pipe a few years back and flooded out ground floor, that was clean water, but still took us a month or so to get everything sorted, these people have such a job of clearing up, it will take some people over a year to get back in their houses.....I too hope all my family here and in the USA are safe and well...

Those floods are quite scary, we are keeping a close eye on the River Thames as our house is on a flood plain, at the moment we are alright. The worst we had it was a few years ago when it burst it's banks and a 140 houses were affected, and that was just 1/2 mile from where we are.

Hope everyone is alright.

G'day Interesting article...the same weather pattern from the Pacific Ocean that has caused flooding and tornados here, is effecting your country.
