What a fantastic award for the Irwin family, Bob (with Lynn) has done so much in nurturing Steve's passion for wildlife and now guiding Bindi and Bob through the next few years with Terri.

I would love to have him as my grandfather.

When it comes to the media, remember they are looking for headlines(and fabricating them) to get the most viewers and for as long as possible to keep the ratings ups. This according to the media is the full letter..because she wasn't mentioned doesn't mean he was snubbing her..perhaps what he had to say to Terri was done in private. Again right now all of this is rumor.

The media have a great way of making more of a story than there actually is,..The truth, well who knows what that is, but at the end of the day it is between Terri and Bob...The paper were very naughty not to have printed Bobs full statement... I am sure he has left the Zoo, but only to concentrate on other projects, helped by the Zoo, and I am sure with Terri's full support...I can't imagine that he would not have anything else to do with it, he loves his Grandchildren and that is there home....This is something we will never know the full truth about, but does it matter?...Time will tell...

Bob Irwin dodges talk of rift with Terri. The father of the late Crocodile Hunter Steve Irwin has further distanced himself from an alleged rift with his daughter-in-law Terri Irwin as reports emerged yesterday of plunging staff morale at the family's famous Sunshine Coast zoo. . . .

Hi ILS, I found it sad too. I feel awful that Bob has left the zoo, I can't imagine how he feels deep down. All the hard work he put into that place with his wife, all the memories, knowing that the zoo meant so much to his son and knowing that his son is buried there... it must hurt him so deeply that things have turned out this way. But, he seems really positive and excited about his new home and the work he will carry on with. Wow, he really works hard for a man of his age. God Bless him.

Hi Can't get enough of the Irwins, when Judy explained how Bob got the news about Steve's death, I was close to tears.. The things that man has been thru and now to leave the place he loves,...Hopefully he will get the backing he needs to make his new place somewhere Steve would be proud of...I am sure he will...
