Thanksgiving

"It is a holiday for individuals - to be celebrated any way they see fit. There are no rules, no religion and no presents."

Thanksgiving is a wonderful time. Every year in my family we go around the table and tell what we are thankful for. For everyone, it is something different....it makes us all stop and reflect on all that we have... and be thankful!

Thursday, Nov 23rd is Thanksgiving. It is a holiday that we celebrate here in the USA, but I hope that we on this forum, as we represent many parts of the world...we who are different, yet the same, can all reflect upon all the blessings in our life. It is a good time to pause and remember those things in our life that we are greatful for. Not just on Thanksgiving, but every day is reason for us to stop and remember to count our many blessings. So, friends across the world, on this day, you too we will be in my thoughts and prayers!Happy Thanksgivng (Day of Thanks) to each and everyone!

Thank you Cat. What a wonderful post! Although it is an American Holiday, the reason for the Holiday is indeed one that knows no boundries of Countries. After having been coming to this Forum Since September, I will be giving thanks for yet another blessing I have recieved this year, and that is my new circle of friends. The spirit of Thanksgiving lives in all of us. A toast to you my new friends. Cheers and Happy Thanksgiving!

Thats a lovely message Cat.Happy Thanksgiving for tomorrow hope you have a really nice Thanksgiving with your family.I agree with Shanon, everyone on here is a blessing because we're like one big family and we're supportive of each other if anyones feeling down about Steve.I feel blessed to have known Steve through his documentaries,he was very special,he changed the world for the better. If there were more people like Steve the world would be a nicer place.

Thanks everyone for all the good comforting thoughts. While it is American I just think it should be everyday....and I am thankful we have so many friends here to lean on, laugh, and cry with. I will be thinking of all the special people here who knew and loved Steve and his message. Thanks to all and Peace.
