Is it just me or does anyone else think that Steve is slowly being edged out? This website for instance. You can no longer navigate from the homepage and even when you get into the presenters and click on his name a lot of the information is no longer on the left hand side. Please someone tell me I'm being silly but it just seems like he is slipping away Frowner

No, Nicky D you aren't being silly. They have taken Steve off the homepage. I noticed that yesterday and although I knew it had to come at some point I didn't expect it to be so soon.

I see what you mean now. I went to presenters at the top of this forum clicked more on Steve Irwin, and the Share your Tributes is at the bottom of the page now instead of the colunm at the left.

I haven't been able to get access to the internet for a while so I couldn't wait to get onto this site, but I was upset to see Steve's picture removed from the homepage, like the rest of you I'm certainly not ready to move on yet!

Frowner Jazzers I noticed they removed Steve from homepage yesterday which is ashame,I think its too soon.I'm not ready to move on either,I know I should be but I'm not,Steve was very special to me and he always will be.Even though it happened 8 weeks ago,I still cry for Steve,I will never forget him,he will have a special place in my heart forever.I have Steve has my wallpaper on my phone as well and I will for a long time cos he was my Idol.I believe his spirit will live on in each of us forever cos in his 44 years of life,he touched our hearts,he will be in our hearts forever.

It is sad that they seem to have moved on, I suppose with it being a TV channel there's new things to talk about. That's why I'm trying to get as much on Steve as I can because, if I do have grandchildren in the future I can show them what a wonderful man he was. I have a feeling in the future that he will be known as the late father of Bindi has I can see her being a big star. I think she'll not just do animal things but singing and dancing too.

I agree Samba's Mum.Thats why I've made a Steve Irwin tape (I've been recording his shows on Animal Planet) its a nice way to remember Steve and the great work he did for wildlife.Have you heard Bindi singing? If you have whats she like? I'd like to hear her singing.
