Paper power to save our whales
IT'S time to again tell the Japanese government Australians want an end to whaling in the Antarctic. The Daily Telegraph today launches a new way to have your voice heard ahead of a crucial International Whaling Commission meeting next month in Chile. Go to The Daily Telegraph's website and you can make an online origami whale and "launch" your whale at the Japanese Primi Minister Yasuo ***uda. You can also include your personal online message to Mr ***uda. Conservationists Greenpeace Australia, who worked with The Daily Telegraph and the Nine network's Today show in a groundbreaking online anti-whaling petition last year, are again vital partners in the new campaign. http://www.send-a-whale.com/sendawhale/landing.php?source=DT |
