One year ago today, I woke to the news that a geat man had passed away. I was in a state of shock for the whole day as I tried to find out what had happened.

I did not realise the effect that the passing of Steve was going to have on me. This man I had never met before had me feeling numb and a vast emptiness had come over me.

As the months went by I wanted to learn more about this man. I had for several months been viewing the posts that had been made on this forum and in January I joined, and I have learned alot. By coming to this forum, I have been able to share my feelings with like minded people and not frowned upon for caring about someone that I had never met. My family here mean the world to me.

Steve Irwin has change my life and I feel better for it. I will always miss him and he has a place in my heart forever.

CROCS RULE!!!

The below link is Elton singing at Princess Di's funeral, but there is a sentance in this that I believe is very relevant to Steve 'Your'e candles burned out long before your legend ever will'
