She was one cool lady, I remember when we used to keep tortoises when I was younger, nothing of Harriet's size. They were fascinating to watch.

I had a tortoise called Fred when I was a kid..He died during hybernation, we found him in the garden so we have no idea how old he was...

He was about the size of a dinner plate, so not too big but not a tiny one..I will try and find a picture, I have one with me and sis when we were little kids...

I think we had about 6 at one point. I can't remember all their names but there was definatly a Fred and a Freda. Fred was evil, he didn't care if it was a tortoise or not that he tried to mate with. Usually my Dad's shoe....
