Hello everyone! It is the big countdown now! Start checking the the list, and check it twice! You know, the agenda list, the gift list, the menu (for multi functions), the mailing list.... We all know at the time, there is just not enough time. But, I suggest to everyone that we all slow down to remember the true meaning of Christmas.

Hello Jazzers. Thanks Cat. Remembering the true meaning of Christmas, is an instant relax, and always puts a smile on my face. Want to remind everyone that although February seems far away, it will be here before we know it, so be thinking of ways to contribute to the Pledge book.

Hi Jazzers, hope you're going to have a nice break from Uni for a few weeks!

I think we need to listen to Cat and remember the true meaning. Also I do believe that Christmas is not something that comes once a year.

Good morning everyone. I believe that a time has come to organize the topics on the forum. I feel that there are to many topics on topics. There are seperate topics/sometimes 4 or more that if placed under one topic would make it easier for us, new members and visitors to read and understand. It would make it easier to keep up with current items. I have heard members comment that they don't have time to read everything. This is part of the reason why. We have all done this. it seems that the forum is drowning in Topics about Topics. Cat is really good at organizing. I would like to suggest that with everyones approval that if Cat is willing we ask her to re-organize the forum topics. I would like to be able to get the full benefit of reading all the great material that is posted here, but that is almost impossible with the existing amount of topics.

Afternoon Shanon lol sounds like you are going to have a good christmas!!!! My great nan is staying with us over christmas so there will be my mum, neil, my sister, my great nan and me on christmas day then we are having a family day a few days after that (28th i think) where all my mums family come round for the day and catch up (a fun day not to be missed!!) then the day after we are going to Neils sisters where his sisters family, his brothers family and his mum and Roy are going to be. So lots of people to see and catch up with lol. Not sure what i am doing for new years yet i might just stay and look after the dogs so my mum and Neil and sister can go out without worrying lol. Not sure yet will see nearer the time lol. You got any plans for new years?

Hi. Jazzers - I'm fine thanks, how are you? Is it cold enough for you, it's freezing in Birmingham! Wish it would snow, have asked crystalslove if we can have just a bit of their snow sent over. Lol
Shannon - what a good idea, you're right there's so many topics here it takes ages to read and I often feel as if i've "missed" something! I hope Cat wouldn't mind taking on the job.

Good morning Shanon and Good afternoon MrsM! I certainly agree with you. This forum has and will continue to be a very positive influence if we take notice now to re-organize and keep moving forward. I have noticed for quite some time now that some topics have been posted with discussion and the next day or two, another topic is posted almost identical to the previous. My thought is that everyone is not reading everything... and maybe that is all of our faults. What concerns me is that this forum seems to be very disorganized. Topic titles should be what draws someone to that topic.... we have to remember that we are not the only ones reading these! A lot of thought should go into choosing the topic title, and be sure that this topic is not previously posted. This requires being familiar with previous posts or simply doing a search. I feel that a lot of valuable informatio nis being lost here because many times new posts are not added to existing related topics....so they get lost as they sink lower and lower on the forum. Discussions should pertain to the topic. If someone new is looking in, they would find this forum very confusing! I believe that we should start new topics to cover most of the topics that we would be interested in discussing. That is why I started the Meet-Greet-Say Hello. It was a good place to say G'Day, and ask how someone was doing, or welcome someone new to the forum, or welcome someone back. Honestly, if you were new to the forum, and just looking around.... how confused would you be? What would be your reaction? Would you want to come back and participate or would you go elsewhere? Something else that concerns me is that so many are all over the board.... asking each other questions and giving answers.... how do you even know where to find the Q&A's you are looking for? ....they are so spread out. So, one topic, and one topic alone, would easily cover that area. Eveyone would know where to go to ask and where to get the answers.

I think this is what we need to remember.... why we came here and what we want to do as we continue on in Steve's name. I take Steve's mission quite seriously, and I feel we all begin to carry on Steve's work right here on this forum. It is nice that we have all become friends and talk about all sorts of things here....But it needs to be controlled and organized. I believe you will all agree with me. I have been here since those early days of September. I know the spirit that exists on this forum. I have complete confidence that this forum will continue to expand into a growing and positive medium to continue to spread Steve's message and to focus on our part in saving wildlife.

I am replying to the previous posts because I believe that it is in the best interest to make the changes now and continue on with why we are here! I will be more than happy to be respsonsible for re-grouping and organizing this forum. I hope that everyone knows me well enough to see that my heart and soul is here. I am truly dedicated to do my part here... I have felt this since the beginning. I gladly accept this responsibility but I will need the help of everyone. I am going to copy this post to a new topic "FORUM -Thoughts & Concerns." I hope everyone will respond and we will all be ready to go into the New Year with new direction and renewed spirit!

My sincere appreciation to all!
