This Forum has become a Circle of friends, that started off small, and has grown with each new friend that has signed on. We all came here for the same reason; to pay tribute to Steve Irwin, to deal with our loss of a great Human being and Conservationist, and learn how we can be a part of keeping his dream alive. We have been a support to one another emotionally, and spritually. The amount of information that we have shared is phenomenal. I thought it would be nice to start this topic(the 461st by the way). As a Place for everyone to re-group and post news that will cheer us up and forward, and as a place to share our thoughts on some of the recent "Good News" items. A place to reflect and highlight the good things that each has experienced here.

I like this thread Shanon. It has grown in just a few short months. The forum has been a good place to meet folks, but I know I have had to rant and rave, and expressed grief for someone I didnt know, and who when I first saw him, thought he was a "nut". There are days when I still cant "grasp" whats happened, and then other days I am glad to be able to go to all the different links and continue to learn about Steve. I am glad to know how Terri is doing. I wouldnt be able to find all the info that is posted here. I think best of all is all the friends to be made here, ones we wouldnt have normally made becasue so many times the "outside world" doesnt get Steve or wildlife.

wildlifewarrior...I found this place because after awhile my "friends" we like oh just get over it. You didnt even know him. They didnt want to listen and see the diamond (Steve) we had lost. Its been a good source too as an example for kids everywhere who need to understand that all of us need to spread Steve's work.

crystalslove,SteveIrwinForeverInMyHeart,My friends are the same they are like get over it! Or if i talk about him i get this look! They dont get it and they dont get my fasination for animals and wildlife that i got from Steve,he introducd me to snakes and crocs, animals which i had'nt really ever paid much attention to, which i now consider gorgeous, cute creatures!
I consider Steve as my Hero and He inspired me so much!
Helping to conserve the animals that he loved is the least i can do for him ,cos in a way even though i never knew him personally he done so much for me!

Hello Wildlifewarrior4va. You get it and that is what's important. You have plenty of people here who know how you feel, and why you feel the way you do. And it is important that you remember the great things that he accomplished and all of the things that we can do to keep these good works alive and spreading. He gave the world so much joy,and we can keep that joy going. Think of him and smile,I can't imagine he would want it any other way.

I'd like to say a massive thanks too. I'm moving out with my daughter to my sisters house in a few weeks as i've recently split with my partner. And everything has to go into storage until i can afford a deposit on a house so i'm going to be gone a while. i am really not looking forward to it as i am going to miss talking to you all, my friends. I'm hoping this forum is still going to be going strong when i have a house. Really going to miss talking to you all.

Bextucker, we wish you well and will keep you in our thoughts and prayers as you go through the weeks ahead. In times of transition, you always need support and friendship..... the world is not meant for us to be alone. We all need each other.... I think that as soon as the "world" realizes that, things will be better for everyone.I hope that you will remember your "circle of friends" here. If you have an opportunity to use a computer, do so! We will anxiously await your return! Good luck!
