I would like to recommend sanctions, maybe a boycott or something, in order to try to influence China to improve its justice system and respects for human rights.

At some point, where a dictatorship becomes dependent on the rest of the world, we have got the means to do something.

Not doing anything is a kind of racism.

I have to argee with you on the boycott part - though I am not sure about the racial issue. I think that is more a matter of laziness.
I found to interesting articles on the web that illustrate this point the firstspeaks about our dependence on the Chinese export industry and is very interesting and though provoking, and the secondis about boycotting the Olympic Games. Sadly, as I said - I think the word is to lazy and content to really do anything.
