Sadly, I have had only 4 top favorites of all time. It was Tosca, Kinkajou, Mozart and Lola. All but one have died now and im getting sick of it. All these deaths suck.

Mozart was my fave as well, she was such a doll, I liked how she would sneak off with roving males, and she made me smile when she went off and did some rude with Stinker, he was old..!! Im sure that she will still be up to her old tricks in Meerkat Heaven with Flower standing behind her.!!

I really shouldn't want to know but does Mozart die after the 12th episode in season 3, which states lone female Mozart gets a mate or something like that? This is too disconcerting to know that Mozart will die too, knowing tomorrow night in Chicago we will also witness Flower's death. Knowing Mozart had hope possibly with the Starskys gave me hope in a season fraught with too many sad images and death. Frowner

That does it! I know there is the hands off policy but, jeez!! There ARE cameras on these animals! Can't U people just once have intervened and helped poor Flower? She IS the star of the show....too many deaths r making me want to put MY head in the sand and quit watching! Every time i turn around some hawk is flying away with a baby and NOW NO FLOWER?!! It's getting just TOO depressing!!

These things happen, even without the camera's filming them. Nature has it's bad sides and we have to accept it. Flower's time was finished, it would have happened sooner or later, nothing lives forever.

I know this year was deverstating (sp?) but it happened. Having a go at the producers wont change anything, nature fated all the characters.

Im sorry if I upset anyone but this is what happens, im also deverstaited (sp?) about the deaths, but it happened, we have to try to move on, everything dies in the end.

Im 16 here and maybe I shouldn't be saying these things but this is the situation. I think animals shouldn't be interfered with unless it's for research only. I also dont like the way Big Cy was put to sleep, it might sound cruel but that was un-nessasery interferance. They should have let nature deal with him.

Im really sorry if I upset anyone but im just making a point here.

i have been totally upset that Flower is gone! I also wished they could have intervened this one time. I hope Mozart comes back as she deserves to take her mothers place. It's so sad, I was so happy that Flower took in the little pup from the Zappa gang; that just shows her motherly instincts coming out. She is going to be missed. Meerkat manor will not be the same.

I am writing to find out what happened to shakespear. I have watched the show and have never seen his death reported. Also, while I am dismayed at the death of Flower, I would like to find out if the cobra was killed or driven from the den. How many other Whiskers were hurt or killed? The writers don't always reveal every detail.

I have been on the US forum and they had a live chat with one of the producers of MM on Friday night and they confirmed that Shakespear has been found dead, he died of a snake bite last winter.

Has anyone seen a Meerkat in real life?
They are quite a interresting bunch.I wonder why "meerkat(kat - "cat"), because they look and act more like Canine's.
I wonder how and when do they pass stools?

I like Mitch very much and Tosca was another of my favourites.I do not like Kinkajou, maybe because she ate Mozart's pups.(I know it's a natural thing for them to do)

But otherwise, they are very cute.My favourite wild animal.
