I THINK THIS SERIES OF MEERKAT MANOR HAS BEEN TOO SAD WITH SO MANY OF THEM DYING. IT WAS BAD ENOUGH WHEN POOR MOZART DIED, BUT THE BIGGEST SHOCK WAS FLOWER. I SHALL THINK OF HER WHENEVER I HEAR STING SINGING DESERT ROSE. AT LEAST THEY ARE ALL AT PEACE NOW, I LOVED THEM ALL

To me everything lives on, no matter what , the meerkats stole our hearts and they taught us about them.
But to see flower go was a shock. RIP Flower queen of the kalahari.
Lets hope series 4 will be happier if its made and that the rains will arrive on time this year coming up.

I love the meerkats...especially Flower. I usually post on the Steve Irwin Forum....but I occasionally read these forums as well. I too, have a hurtful feeling about Flower and how she lost her life. Sad as it is...and I too feel it should not have happened...I keep thinking about the people right there...holding the camera....couldn't they have helped? Couldn't it have been prevented? Did AP think this would make good TV? I know I could not have just been there and not done something. One part of me says..this is nature...and that is what we are watching...but these cute and lovable meerkats were brought into our homes. We came to know them and love them...so how and why did this happen right before our eyes? This was more than a documentary....these meerkats had names and personalities....we watched them and loved them more with each show.

I suppose I just wanted to express my thoughts and feelings. And even though Flower will be missed...one good thought is, that it is good to know that so many people can take the time to have thoughts and feelings about a little meerkat named Flower.

I do not like this new look at all!! Very strange looking and hard to find the forums I want to post on.... like the Flower memorial forum. why would you change when it looked good and was working good as it was???? I cant even find the meerkat chat area...Whoever made the decision to change this on us and try confuse us....needs to FIX it
