Why have a "whole day of wrecks to riches" and then just repeat 4 episodes over and over all day?

There was more than enough source material, so why limit to just 4 episodes?

It has to be a licensing issue, by repeating the same episodes over and over saved money on licensing?

Whatever reason, it still sucks! Poor quality television.
