I am so utterly disappointed to hear that there will be no further workshop style shows from Mark Evans! Me and all my friends would watch them religiously every time they aired and to hear that there won't be any more is such a terrible shame.

I think Mark Evans is a genius. The "is born" series was awesome and so are his other shows. I think he is the closest we have to American Hotrod, Overhaulin and Custom my ride which are all stunning shows and really make sure their cars are fit for purpose and finished to a high standard. The only UK programmes we have are Pimp my ride UK which is just a makeover full of tat and Chop Shop which I admire for their comedy and the work they do but not sure I would trust one of the cars.
In my opinion as someone who frequents lots of UK car forums Mark Evans or similar(maybe Chip Foose) should be doing a rebuild a a MK1 or MK2 Escort maybe with a gp4 shell into a rallycar or similar. These cars are extremely popular amongst all car owners and seem to be the holy ground for most of them. There are threads on all of them with posts from the young to the old drooling over these kind of cars.

I would love to help with one of these types of shows and I also have the garage to do it in (complete with ramp..lol) Go on guys lets get one done
