Hi people,
Just posting on here to say how much I have enjoyed the show and have followed Bernie and leepu’s work since it started before chopshop.

I have watched all the shows now, an what I am after knowing is.
What has happened to all the car?
Where they sold? If so how much did each fetch
Where they all SVA’ed and MOT’ed afterwards?
Is there going to be a second series?
How come you keep saying each car was made in 3 weeks BUT when you look in the back ground on different show you can see the another car in the back ground?
Also I take it a lot of the wording of the shows scripped was to make it sound better as I am sorry BUT there is no way you can take a body of a car (which it is shown as a welded structure) and 24hours later have it bogged, smoothed, etch primed, high build primed, flatted, painted and polished in that time scale?

Please do not think I am trying to put you boys down I really enjoy the show and your work, just a few questions that’s all as I own a bodyshop/garage and build custom show and drag cars myself an find everything very interesting.
Hope you boys do have a second series, I hope to pop into see the the chopshop with my own eyes soon when I am down in London.

Take care look forward to seeing peoples replys

Hi Mr Beard
Thanks for the compliments and questions. As impossible as it sounds each car is given a 3 week slot start to finish. Including mechanical and bodywork. We have a great team who work with Leepu and myself, totally dedicated and willing to work sometimes through the night . Our budget is £4000 per car and there is no scripting or lines to learn, just go in front of the cameras. With a team of 6 all working together for 1 goal it is possible, and as our works are not massive sometimes due to no storage space we have another car parked in the works, after Bangla bangers in Bangladesh, and building 11 cars here in 10 months, we learn more and more from each other and tighten or work scedule further with each car. All the cars have to be SVA and MOT that i sthe requirement from Discovery. Merry Christmas, keep watching, and, all comments are very much appreciated
Best wishes
Bernie and Leepu and the chop shop team
