hello guys this is the first time i write here but there we go, I just got my self a beetle t1 and I'm planning to restore it from top to botom the thing is the body the person that had it before me weld it every where and when I separated from the chassis it is rusted I've got a new floor pan and sill step on the way but what do i do or use to re atach the body back to the chassis?
can i change the plate that covers the heater channel? please help

Hi, sounds like you have a lot to do mate, I'm doing the same at the moment, but not the Body of resto, just replaced the Heaterchannel and 2 floors, need to do the luggage area noe and a few more holes and its ready to go again, Your best bet is to go to http://www.volkszone.com and ask on there as they are all VW airheads.
