I have a suggestion of a possible car to be used... the 206.. one of the most purchased cars in the UK and hottest hatch around. It has been modded in a number of ways around the globe... but what would Leepu come up with ....

If you think this rubbish is anywhere close to competing with the U.S Custom Car World, then you need to go there and see it for yourself. C,mon please. If these guys cut out the false arguements for the sake of TV and got on with it, they might make a decent car. See for yourself the final touches,ie/ grill on the flame car,headlights on boy racer car. Nowhere near the first series !!!

Mito,Mito,Mito,You are seriously deluded in thinking that leepu and Bernie are anywhere near the standard of the American custom car builders and i shall tell you why.
The first clue is the cost and timescale these two have to work to,£2000 and three weeks!The Americans spend that on the process of buying and changing the bulb for the oil level indicator light!Seriously though,this show is,well a show,can you not see that the so called buisness is manufactured(excuse the pun)by the discovery channel purely for entertainment,if Bernie went to the banks with this as a buisness plan he would be politely told to go and smell the coffee,oh and by the way close the ****in door on your way out!
Just look at the cars they "customise" the one that stands out to me is the Beach car,what the ****!? and come to think of it the Taxi comes a close 2nd and i see that they haven't sold them,would you buy any of em?Thinking about price,why are we(the viewers)never told what they are asking for the things? could it be the fact that,they buy or get donated a wreck,then Bernie and Leepu then start pretending to argue about the same things every week.After that Bernie reconditions the engine in between Leepu putting up the ramp and balancing on a spanner which somehow gives him a picture of the "lines"which no matter how long it takes him are the same on every car,i can't understand why the adjectives,genius,maverick and the worst one of all"Visionary"Come on!!
Bernie constantly whinges about budget and his employees going home at 8pm,i'll tell you what,if i worked at that ****in place i would want to go home as soon as 5pm comes around.
How can you test drive a car that is just a chassis with wheels and a steam cleaned engine? the reason why this is done is to make sure the mad max 2 mobile doesn't fall apart,some test drive!
The only truely skilled work is the paint job which we don't see any of the process at all.
Compare this show with say ,American Chopper yeah senior and junior do have arguments and moan about time constraints and designs etc but at least the final product means something to them,can you honestly say that about your final product Bernie and Leepu?

Spot on Prestonbob. It is a show for the satellite tv networks. Its is an entertaining show but the bad language and so called tantrums are a bit much and totally unecessary as this show would appeal to alot of younger kids.At least the boys on American Chopper and American Hotrod are true craftsmen. See the old guy who did the aluminium body for the alumitub. brilliant is the only way to describe him.The Garage is something similiar but it has to be said it is a great programme to start kids off into the trade with the animated descriptions of how brakes,a.b.s etc works.My lads are hooked on it.The british make the best drama and comedy series in the world though.
