We're all feeling the credit crunch, but that shouldn't mean we still can't make our homes and gardens look good! What are your tips for bagging a bargain?

Here's a great money saving tip.
Don't bother paying for the Discovery Realtime channels unless you are interested in fishing or have Sky+.
All day fisjing on the shed channel (why?) with the only DIY type of programs in the early hours.

I think you may find a good choice at some online shop.Tools at the online shop ususlly cheaper than others.Or you may rent some tools which is necessary.

I was going to say give up Sky TV but I have been beaten to the post.
As for cheap tools you get what you pay for. Cheap tools are not worth the bother. they let you down in the middle of a job. and ore poor quality so dont keep settings well. I would rather pay good money for a decent product where ever it has come from.

For cheap top quality tools I would suggest going to car boot sales. O.K. the tools are not new; but look at the quality of some of the older tools. You may need to clean them up and provide a little t.l.c. but it will be worth the effort. You will buy tools that have previously lasted someones lifetime. Look after them and they will last your lifetime. You are also helping the environment by re-cycling these items.

Regards

Ralph.
