Hello, I am French and I was sad has to translate this text into English but I arrived there.
I have a little bit strange myth has to propose you: it is the story of an obese person who, being still on the basin of toilet would have flushed the toilet what would have created a space and the person would have remained stuck on toilet. |

I guess you mean their excess skin/bulk would create a seal around the bowl resulting in a partial vacuum when they flush. The seat would need to be raised for this I guess.
I'm not sure that the plumbing involved would be powerful enough to cause a suction effect strong enough to hold a person onto the toilet bowl, but I imagine they'd definately feel a sucking sensation. This may be partially offset by the water rushing into the bowl to replace that which has already been displaced by the flush. |

I heard a myth like this but it wasn't a normal household toilet. I believe it may have been a train toilet it had happened on. I don't use the train much so no idea how the flush system works, though I don't think it was in England so maybe a different system to here. On the same lines, what about a plane toilet? Just trying to think outside the box (or bowl)

They tested this with an aeroplane toilet in one of the very first episodes. Busted.
