How Rugged are cell phones? Ive seen youtube videos showing cell phones being ran over by cars?
is this actually true or is this just a big MYTH? and if you can run your cell phone over with a car why not a bus????? |

What a great many cellphone users forget is that while the phone may well survive, the case having been designed to withstand a given level of abuse, the user will not. It was said of President Ford that he was incapable of simultaneously walking down a street and chewing gum. The same can safely be said of the herds of pratts walking our city streets shouting at their little plastic boxes while under the impression that the rest of the world has to get out of their way.
The pounds per square inch pressure of a bus tyre to the road is greater than that of a car, there would therefore be a higher pressure on the cellphone case. Some might survive, others might not. The nature of the road surface would make a big difference, new sharp chippings would more likely puncture the case than smooth asphalt or dirt. If we do not attempt the impossible, we can never achieve the absurd. You will know the truth, and the truth will see you fret. |
