About the experiment in the bathtub,
i think if the amount of water is enough, and those metal in the glass container was broken underwater, the result will be much better (even if it wasn't close to the explosion of C4). This is because the force was nicely spread by the water if it is submerged.

I was a little annoyed at this one, they used plenty of sodium yes, but in big blocks. If you want a fast reaction you want a large surface area. In my opinion if they had used that amount of sodium but in shavings they would have had a much fiercer reaction as more of the sodium would have reacted at once. Also I'm sure I saw one of the blocks fly out, so that didn't react at all!
