short answer.. yes.
long answer? you would be better going to a library and getting out a book on survival/wilderness! you don't really rub 'sticks' together (like two drumsticks!) , but you do have to cause a fair amount of friction, and to be able to collect the hot, smouldering powder that forms, or all is for nowt... http://www.wildwoodsurvival.com/survival/fire/ you could use this method (with a bow if you chose) or the fireplow method.. And just to give you an idea about all the different woods that will or will not work.... http://wildwoodsurvival.com/survival/fire/materials/preferredmaterials1.html It's Logic Jim But Not As We Know It... |
