if you left your phone for a week while it is still connected to its charger will it explode?
or will the battery will be the one exploding or will it just be broken.... (sorry 4 my english i just cant seem 2 find the right words.....) |

If you are using the correct charger, no problem.
If you are using something else, a lot depends on the charger and the type of battery. Misued NiCad and NiMH batteries get hot and fizz for a short while and might make a bit of mess. A lithium battery, however, when faulty or abused, makes a very dangerous incendiary. Thats why Sony recalled millions of them a couple of years ago. |

generally speaking, an exploding phone is an extremely unlikely occurence. most chargers have a built in safety system that stop overcharging. and usually, another safety system sucha s the household fuse will stop anything major happening.
but if an incompatable charger were forced into a phone. its possible that the battery (or more likely, the charger) could overheat and go off, though the explosion would be very minor, the more dangerous aspects are the battery acid, and secondary fires.
